What changed
Ambassador Cruise Line has launched its replacement trade portal after a phased rollout. The previous system will close after September 30, leaving less than two weeks for remaining UK trade partners to move.
The new portal combines cruise search, quotes, booking management, promotions, incentives, training and marketing assets. It also replaces shared agency logins with individual secure accounts.
The financial exposure
No commission-rate change has been announced. The money risk is access: an advisor who has not migrated could be unable to create new commission-generating bookings or service active Ambassador files through the old system after the cut-off.
The supplier has not published a grace period. Agencies that currently rely on shared credentials should assume each selling advisor needs working individual access before September 30.
What to do now
Register or activate each advisor’s individual account on Ambassador’s new trade portal now. Before September 30, confirm that every seller can sign in, search and quote a sailing, and see the bookings they are responsible for. Escalate missing files or permissions to Ambassador before the old portal closes.
