We receive information submitted through newsletter, tipline and correction forms, including contact details and supporting evidence. We use it to respond, verify submissions and operate the publication.

Editorial confidentiality
When a contributor requests anonymity, we do not publish their name or agency. We may still retain contact information needed to verify the submission.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate the site, forms, analytics and newsletter.
